| Red Standard description: "Surface color to be a bright reddish buff - even and free of smut. Color down the hair shaft as much as possible. Belly and underside tail to be lighter shade of red to cream, but not be pure white. White under tail and feet permitted. Eyes - brown. Faults: dark ticking/smut - light ticking, scattered white hairs, ear lacing, pure white belly. Disqualification: extremely heavy ear lacing, white spots, blue or gray undercolor." (slightly shortened description to what I got) Apparently Ted McBride is taking over the COD now (in New York State) and will be changing the description to be tan based as he works alot with tans. I'm guessing that means full red bellies - will update if I find out.... |
